for The Best of Neo-opsis Science
Fiction Magazine anthology in Prince George, BC, Thursday, November 23rd,
2006 7:00 – 9:00 pm Artspace, above Books & Co. There will be readings and
door prizes.
November 4, 2006 – Neo-opsis
reviewer John W. Herbert has some photos from Vcon 31 up on his blog site Confessions of a Pop-Cult Junkie.
October 13, 2006 – The Best of
Neo-opsis Science Fiction Magazine Anthology launch at Vcon 31
was a big success. The event featured Virginia O’Dine, from Bundoran Press, reading from Frank
Gunderloy’s story The Silver Connection, Nina Munteanu reading from her
story Virtually Yours, and Karl Johanson reading his editorial from
Neo-opsis Science Fiction Magazine issue 8.
October 3, 2006 –
Bundoran Press announces “The Best
of Neo-opsis Science Fiction Magazine” Anthology, and its launch on Sunday,
October 8, 2006 at Vcon 31 (A Vancouver
Science Fiction Convention). Neo-opsis magazine editor Karl Johanson and author
Nina Munteanu will be attending the launch.

2, 2006 – Neo-opsis
Science Fiction Magazine editor Karl Johanson, and art director / assistant
editor Stephanie Johanson, will be attending and speaking on several panels at Vcon 31. Stephanie Johanson will have artwork in
the Vcon art show, and Neo-opsis Science Fiction Magazine will have a table in
the dealers’ room. Subscriptions and back issues will be available for purchase
at the Neo-opsis dealers’ table for cash or cheque. Credit card purchases must
be done through the Neo-opsis
online store.
August
20, 2006 – Neo-opsis
Science Fiction Magazine will be available at the Edge Publishing dealer’s
table at the 64th World Science
Fiction Convention in Los Angeles, California, August 23 to 27th,
2006. Editor Karl Johanson and art director Stephanie Johanson will be
attending the convention. They are not scheduled to speak on panels, but feel
free to corner them and say hello.

has been reprinted in Polish in the June 2006 issue of Nowa Fantastyka.

Fiction Magazine issues five,
six and seven have been nominated for the 2006 Prix Aurora Award - Best
Work in English Other. Stephanie
Ann Johanson has been nominated for the 2006 Prix Aurora Award - Artistic
Achievement. Aurora voting forms can be downloaded from the Prix Aurora Awards website.
